One of two amateur success stories from the 2007 Qualifying School, Galway continued his work for Cleveland, the golf equipment manufacturer that sponsors the Senior Tour, while competing during the 2008 season. Galway has worked in the golf industry as an account manager since 1994, starting his career with another Senior Tour sponsor, TaylorMade, before moving to Cleveland in 2006. Suffered a broken neck in 2002 whilst on holiday in France after slipping in a temporary swimming pool. As a result of that injury, Galway has a titanium plate and screws in his neck but is now unaffected by the injury.
