Won his first European Challenge Tour title in only his seventh start by triumphing in a play-off against Lorenzo Scalise at the Italian Challenge Open Eneos Motor Oil in June 2019.

Attained a further six top ten finishes in his maiden professional campaign as he secured graduation to the European Tour, in addition to a tied 15th finish at the Betfred British Masters on the European Tour where he set the course record with an opening 63 at Hillside Golf Club.

Best known for his top 10 finish during the 2023 Open Championship, played at his home course of Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
