Earned a conditional card for 2015 at the Qualifying School, finishing in seventh position at Pestana Resort’s Vale da Pinta. Grew up surrounded by golf as his father was a coach by trade and had a promising amateur career, representing his country as a junior. Turned professional at 22 years of age and played for two seasons on The European Tour. Returned to his home club in Bologna to become a teaching professional, while also playing some competitive golf in Italy. Won the Italian PGA Senior Order of Merit in 2013. Enjoys going to the gym and is a keen football fan, his favourite team being Juventus.
