Burbank, California Place of Birth6′ 1″ (186cm) HeightGrew up in California and earned a scholarship for the University of California, Berkeley. Has held the course record at Los Angeles Country Club, a nine under 61, since 2013. A member of the victorious United States 2013 Walker Cup side, turning pro after the event.
Show MoreHis first professional victory came on the then-Web.com Tour in 2014 and earned a PGA TOUR card for the following year. Lost his card, but won his second Web.com Tour title in 2016.
Earned a breakthrough PGA TOUR victory in 2019 as he won the Wells Fargo Championship. Had to wait nearly two years for his next victory as he claimed the Genesis Invitational title in a play-off against Tony Finau, but went on to win a further four times in less than 24 months.
Bookended his second Wells Fargo Championship victory in 2022 with a win and subsequent defence of the Fortinet Championship and then claimed his sixth PGA TOUR victory at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2023.
Made his Presidents Cup debut in 2022 and then qualified automatically for United States Ryder Cup team at Marco Simone in 2023. Was his side's top points scorer in Rome as he returned three and a half points from five matches.
Won his first DP World Tour title at the 2023 Nedbank Golf Challenge, finishing four strokes clear of Nicolai Højgaard at Sun City.
