A share of fourth place in the Parkridge Polish Seniors Championship was the highlight of his 2008 season. Enjoyed his best Senior Tour season in 2007, with some outstanding low rounds reflecting his talent, no more so than at the 51st PGA Seniors Championship, when he shot a brilliant nine under par 63 en route to his runner-up finish. Made three appearances at the Qualifying School before finally earning a conditional card in Portugal at the end of 2003. Finished outside the top 30 on the Order of Merit in each of the following two seasons. Attempted the Qualifying School for a sixth time in 2006 and was successful in winning fully exempt status, having finished the 72 holes at Pestana Golf Resort on four under par and then taking the fifth card in a play-off. Turned professional relatively late in life in 1988, going on to win a number of regional events in his home country. Is a keen marathon runner.
