Did not play competitively in 2004 but retains his playing privileges for 2005 through his position on the European Seniors Tour Career Money List. Started his golf career as a caddie at the Ugolini Golf Club in Florence where he came under the influence of Franco Rossi, the head professional, who also worked with former European Tour winner, Baldovino Dassu. Did not win on The European Tour but did claim two Italian Professional Championships and one Italian PGA title and represented his country in three World Cups. Since turning 50 at the end of 1993, the Italian has won twice, at the 1995 International German PGA Seniors Championship and the 1996 De Vere Hotels Seniors Classic.
