He went on to record further rounds of 77 and 74 to claim 7th place. A regular winner Down Under including in the 1990 New Britain Open and the 1979 and 1996 New South Wales Club Professionals Championship. Also won the Mocambo Open in Fiji in 1996. Sixth on the Australian Seniors Order of Merit in 2000. His son, Dean, is also a golf professional.
