Costantino Rocca and Mark McNulty shared the 54-hole lead on 11 under par. Both turned in 34, but Nick Faldo, starting three behind, was out in 33 then birdied the 11th and 12th to tie the lead at 12 under. Paul Lawrie was one behind after an 11th hole birdie.
